Unfollowgram

Unfollowgram is an Instagram account management and monitoring tool that tracks follower changes — who has unfollowed an account, who doesn't follow back, and account follower/following metrics over time.

For OSINT investigators, Unfollowgram provides a specific type of Instagram social network intelligence: the follower relationship dynamics of a target account. While the primary marketing use case is tracking unfollowers, the underlying data about follower/following relationships has investigative applications.

Social network analysis through follower relationship data reveals who a subject is following versus who follows them back — asymmetric relationships may indicate one-way attention to specific accounts. Accounts a subject follows but who don't follow back may include subjects of interest, professional contacts, or communities they monitor.

Account monitoring over time reveals when follower counts change significantly — sudden drops in followers may indicate automated follower purges, account cleanup, or platform-detected inauthentic follower removal. The mutual following pattern (who a subject both follows and is followed by) represents their closest Instagram social connections — people with whom the subject has established mutual connection rather than one-way interest.

Limitations: Unfollowgram requires authentication to a personal Instagram account to function fully — it cannot monitor arbitrary accounts without being logged in as that account or using an investigation account. Functionality may be limited for investigating accounts you don't control.
